Mindful Eating Will Help To Lose Weight

Its the end of the year 2009, having a new year to begin, i am trying to search back for my soul after its been lost for many year. Will be joining a meditation retreat soon in KK hoping it will help to set me a mindful thinking and a better me for the years to come ! Trying to read for lots of article and books to get ready for the retreat and i think this article draw most of the attention to me.

Mindful eating has the powerful potential to transform people’s relationship to food and eating, to improve overall health, body image, relationships and self-esteem. Mindful eating involves many components such as:

learning to make choices in beginning or ending a meal based on awareness of
hunger and satiety cues
learning to identify personal triggers for mindless eating, such as emotions,
social pressures, or certain foods;
valuing quality over quantity of what you’re eating
appreciating the sensual, as well as the nourishing, capacity of food

feeling deep gratitude that may come from appreciating and experiencing food

How true will all these reflect to me ? will let u all know when i am back......... To be Continued.........
